Dark pool releases the light
Foam and bubbles turn green
In the dark dusk light
Anticipation murmurs
And she arrives
A sole Faery lands to the sand
She teeters on feet
Tired from her day of flight
Through salt and brine
Facing every direction she seeks
And sensing no lurk
Launches back to her sea
Her message pure joy
The Faeries arrive
Flights of beauty home come
From phosphor pools
Return to rest and to feed
These island mounds
Come alive with their chicks
Secure and quiet
Come hither to join
In the magic and joy
Of family and home
The music of love
Chirps, whistles, and whir
The tiny wee Faeries
Return to their stir

The Jesters Prayer
Know this of all, my majesty friend
The love we possess can overtake much
Keep it self close and share it abroad
Mingle it to friends, the elixir conquers all
Release it to ether
Release it to moon
Release it to wind
Feel none of things blue
The love we possess can overtake much
Keep it self close and share it abroad
Mingle it to friends, the elixir conquers all
Release it to ether
Release it to moon
Release it to wind
Feel none of things blue

Destiny Six
It is a year of six, I thought, staring from the edge of a dark highway up to an upside down moon.
Years of six have always been watershed years for me. These are years in which great and not so great decisions made in the previous five conspire together to form me into a new man with a new direction. I have never understood why this was so. I have just always accepted the inevitability of it, one of my few forms of faith, that in this year a destiny will be reached.
What is ahead, I wonder. Who will share with me, I reflect. What will change, I contemplate. Something will change and people will join me on the journey. I thank you now if it is you. I love my year of six. I love them for they are a manifest destiny on an unknown, uncharted journey.
And thank you for the past five years building to this year of six.

Dearth Evader
Confirmed absence
Is where I am
Checked out to check out
Who and what
The Do-Do doo doo
Will miss
This auld lang syne
Close is so far
Desires will ring
The newest of friends
The oldest of links
Crowds do abhor
The vacuous being
With acumen genesis
False starts the time
Again then again
Warmth has been found
Away and my home
Balance the balanced
Over then over
Germinate interest
Will grow from this seed
Foster and care
Veracity truths
And then dares
For want of the big life
I do
Aspershuns
Sir, come with us please sir
Huh, why
Sir, we don’t want to make trouble for you sir
I am sitting here, I am doing nothing
I demand to know why you want to remove me
Sir, we have been observing you for some time sir
You are doing precisely nothing sir
Your actions, rather your lack of actions
Are highly suspicious sir
You look uncomfortable sir
You look as if you do not fit in sir
You look agitated sir
Ah, so you have profiled me
We do not do profiling sir
And besides if we did you would not be a type we would profile sir
You are a white male
But you have profiled me gentlemen
And because I do not fit your version of normal
And because I am uncomfortable with these social situations
You have taken it upon yourselves to hassle me
Ergo you are profiling me
I do not fit your profile
We must ask you to leave sir
Fine

Emancipation
Woman I ran from you
Years ago
All your rage
The guise of your love
I sit here today
The man who took his freedom
On my terms
I never gave up on myself
You delivered to me
Over then over again
That stumbling loss of life
The boy doomed to failure
Because you willed it to be
And I never believed
Nor ever trusted you
Because only one can fail me
And now
I move on once again
Gravity
This state of being does not affect
My sense of station
Or satiation
Or need for satisfaction at all
To frustrate to this degree
Leaves one fully grounded
Pulled downwards to the earth
With this unbridled sense
All are walking over you
Oblivious to who you are
Or what you need
That is gravity I’m afraid
Suppressed and held
By a spin
And certainly the situation
One is found in
One can be so profoundly
Smitten that the impact
With the ground ceases to matter now
A break from the bonds
A float into the aura
To break the gravity of this condition
To express the art of humanity
On humane and essential mutual knowledge
Respect for you, respect from you
What more do we need then
But to satiate this thirst
Companions upon this quest
Different convergence
Respected divergence
Transgressions of this mind, soul, and body
Are simply realities enacted
To impact upon each other
This siren need of all
